The Plose is the local mountain of Bressanone, the oldest town in Tyrol. With 20,000 residents, this Valle Isarco town is considered one of the most beautiful in Italy. The impressive cathedral and rich cultural offerings make Bressanone a popular destination in the Dolomites. In winter, you’ll find a vast ski area on the Plose with perfect slopes, cross-country trails, and snowshoe hikes.

At the edge of the village of Rodengo, perched above the Rienza Gorge, stands the majestic Rodenegg Castle, world-famous for its fascinating Iwein frescoes. The Rodengo-Luson Alp is the longest high alpine pasture in Europe. In summer, it's a favourite hiking destination. In winter, it invites visitors for cross-country skiing, ski touring, and snowshoeing. However you explore this beautiful area, be sure to stop at one of its welcoming alpine huts.

The high plateau of Naz-Sciaves is a stunning spot for both excursions and holidays. Five picturesque villages lie here among pristine Dolomite forests, colourful apple orchards and lively biotopes. The rugged edges of the Rienza Gorge form the natural boundary of the plateau. This popular photo spot is perfect for a hike, revealing the ancient history of this fascinating mountain landscape.

A holiday in Luson is like a journey back in time: discover traditional South Tyrolean life and feel as cosy as you would at your grandmother’s home. Luson offers a variety of accommodation – from classic mountain farm flats to family-friendly farms with wellness areas and luxury design hotels. The village is beautifully located at the end of the Val di Luson.

In the Val di Funes lies the famous Odle Group. During the winter season, this unspoiled valley offers many ways to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. The villages of Tiso with Nave, San Pietro, and Santa Maddalena lie in the valley. For a family holiday with children, Santa Maddalena is ideal. In the heart of the village is the “Filler” ski adventure mountain, perfect for little ones to try skiing.

Rio di Pusteria lies at 777 metres above sea level at the entrance to Val Pusteria. Historic buildings, stately homes and picturesque lanes define this town of 1,000 people, whose roots go back to the 13th century. In winter, it turns into a magical fairy-tale village: strings of lights bathe the streets in a warm glow, and cafés and restaurants serve homemade mulled wine.
